When we counsel patients about the types and routes of hysterectomy.. many a patient express their inability to understand how such a big uterus can be removed laparoscopically or microsurgery. The answer is we do not take out the uterus through the mini incisions made in laparoscopy but take it out through the natural pathway of normal delivery.
